Arrest following fatal stabbing in north London
33 year old Mohamed Malki died in Brent last wendesday.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was fatally stabbed in Brent.
On the evening of Wednesday, 11th of February officers were called to an address in Manor Park Road, Brent following reports of a stabbing.
A 33-year-old man was found with stab wounds and despite the efforts of paramedics, died at the scene.
He has since been named as Mohamed Malki. His next of kin are aware and receiving support from specialist officers.
A murder investigation has remained ongoing and on Sunday, 15 February, detectives arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
He has been bailed to return on a date in mid-March.
Detective Inspector Barry Hart, who is leading the investigation said: “Since Mohamed’s death, detectives have been working at pace, carrying out enquiries in the local area to build a picture of the events that night.
“I continue to encourage anyone who has any information in relation to Mohamed’s death to contact officers and assist with our investigation.”
