Appeal for witnesses after motorcyclist injured in Wirral crash
Police are asking for CCTV and dashcam footage following the collision in Moreton
Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a serious road traffic collision involving a motorbike and a car in the Wirral.
The incident occurred at around 5pm on Wednesday 14th May at the junction of Hoylake Road and Acton Lane, near the Grange public house in Moreton.
A 39-year-old motorcyclist sustained a serious shoulder injury in the crash, which involved a Ford Fiesta. The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
Officers are now urging anyone who may have seen the collision, or who may have relevant dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage, to come forward.
PC Gareth Milbourne, the officer in charge of the investigation, said: “This was a serious collision and we’re keen to speak to any witnesses as a result.
“The motorcyclist was very shaken after the incident and suffered a serious shoulder injury.
“The incident happened early in the evening when there would have been numerous people around who may have seen what happened. Any information, no matter how small, could help the investigation.
“If you were passing the location and saw or captured the incident on CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage then please share this with police.”
