Weapons found after six boys arrested in Birkenhead
They seized axes, machete and a sword
Six axes, two machetes and a sword have been found after six boys were arrested in Birkenhead town centre.
The weapons were seized from a nearby house after officers arrested the six - who are between 11 and 13.
The six are being questioned on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
It comes as a 48-hour dispersal order remains in place across parts of Birkenhead, following reports of threatening behaviour and criminal damage involving large groups of youths.
It's due to end at 4pm tomorrow (14 May).
