Two teenagers arrested after Christmas presents stolen in Haydock
An 18-year-old and a 15-year-old are being questioned
Two people have been arrested after a burglary and a series of attempted break-ins in Haydock during the early hours of Saturday, 20th December.
Police said a house in Fairclough Crescent was burgled at around 2.55am.
Christmas presents were taken from beneath a Christmas tree, along with keys and a handbag.
Officers said there were also attempted burglaries at nine other houses.
These happened on Laurel Road, Rowan Close and Holly Road between 3am and 3.30am.
A male aged 18 and a male aged 15, both from Haydock, have been arrested.
They have been taken to a police station where they will be interviewed by detectives.
