Liverpool teenager in critical condition after being attacked with "unknown substance"

A 16-year-old boy is in a critical condition after being attacked with an "unknown substance" at a house in Liverpool.
Emergency services rushed to Harrow Road in Anfield at around 19:30GMT on Saturday (28 December), following reports of three men entering the home.
The boy was also found with slash wounds to his head, back and buttocks.
Police are now carrying out tests to determine what the substance is, and are continuing searches for the three suspects.
Officers are looking at CCTV footage and going door-to-door as part of their investigation.
