Serious Assault in Chester Nightclub
Police want to talk to a man they think might have information

Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a serious assault on a woman in Chester city centre.
The incident occurred between 2.30am and 3am on Sunday, 16 March, at a nightclub on Northgate Street. A 20-year-old woman from Chester was assaulted by an unknown man and sustained serious spinal injuries. She was hospitalised for a month and has since been discharged.
As part of ongoing enquiries, officers are appealing to the public to help identify the man in the CCTV image.
Detective Constable Lauren Wycherley Jones said: “The victim is now recovering from the attack after sustaining serious injuries to her spine and we are committed to doing all we can to identify the person responsible.
“As part of our investigation, we are keen to speak to the man in the CCTV images as we believe he may hold important information.
"I would also like to appeal directly to the man in the CCTV images to get in touch.”
