Scarborough man dies following Anfield group assault
A post-mortem is taking place to understand the cause of death

A man from Scarborough has died after being assaulted in Anfield on Sunday (1st February).
It's believed two men were attacked at 1.30am on Oakfield Road by a group of people after a disagreement.
Officers attended but both men declined medical help.
One victim, a 53-year-old man, had swelling to his face.
The other victim, a 54-year-old man, suffered head and rib injuries.
The 54-year-old man returned to Scarborough where he died yesterday (3rd February) after a medical episode.
A post-mortem is set t take place to understand why he died.
Detective Inspector Natalie Charlesworth said: “First and foremost our thoughts and condolences are with the family of the man who has died.
“North Yorkshire Police are leading the investigation into his death, we are keeping an open mind until we know the cause of death, and are conducting extensive enquiries so his family can get answers.
“We are aware that people were in the area and may have witnessed the incident and we urge them to please contact us as soon possible."
It's believed that two taxi drivers pulled over and a member of the public may have recorded the incident.
