Man charged with attempted murder after stabbing in Woodchurch
The injuries suffered are not thought to be life-threatening
A man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Woodchurch.
Detectives were called to a property on Big Meadow Road at around 3pm on Tuesday 16 December, after reports that a man in his 50s had suffered a chest injury.
He's in hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.
Merseyside Police say they believe it to be a domestic incident between two men known to each other.
Andrew Roberts, 37, of Woodward Road, Rock Ferry, has been charged and remanded into custody to next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday 15 January 2026.
