A man in his 50s suffered a stab wound to his arm

A man has been charged after a stabbing in Anfield.

It was at around 11pm on Monday 22 December when Merseyside Police received a report of a man in his 50s being attacked on Breck Road.

He suffered a stab wound to his arm.

Mason Breen, 20, of Buckingham Road, Tuebrook, has been arrested and charged with section 18 - grievous bodily harm with intent, and possessing a knife/blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.

He's due to appear at Liverpool Magistrate's Court today (Wednesday 24 December).
