Two teenagers injured with a knife at Heswall bus station
A fight broke out on Saturday evening
Police are appealing for information after a stabbing at Heswall Bus Station led to the arrest of three boys.
Officers were called to the bus station on Telegraph Road around 6.35pm on the 4th July following reports of a fight involving several teenagers.
Two teenage boys sustained injuries, one to a finger and another to the chest, both suspected of being inflicted by a knife.
The boys were taken to hospital for medical treatment.
Three boys, including a 15-year-old from Birkenhead and two from Tranmere aged 15 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of offences including possession of a bladed article, Section 18 wounding with intent, and affray.
They have been bailed with conditions.
Detective Chief Inspector Peter Stephenson said:
“Although we have arrested three males in connection with the incident, we continue to make enquiries into what took place to ensure those involved are held to account.
“With this I urge people in the area to check your CCTV, doorbell and dashcam footage to see if it has captured any footage, no matter how small, as any information may help with the investigation.
“Knives have no place in our communities and can have tragic consequences, not only for the victim and their family but also for the offenders involved.
“I would urge people to educate themselves and speak to their children and family members about the dangers of knife crime.”
