Fourth man charged with murder of Liverpool father Rikki Berry

The 36-year-old was gunned down in his partner's front garden in July 2024

A fourth man has been charged with the murder of a father who was gunned down in a front garden in Kirkby.

Rikki Berry was stood outside his partner's home in July 2024 when he was shot dead by a man on a bike, while his children were playing inside.

Three men, gunman Michael Smith, Adam Williams and Connor Walsh, are all serving prison sentences for his death.

A fourth man, Ryan Walsh-Westhead, 24, of Burscough Street, in Ormskirk, has been charged with murder and possession of a firearm.

He has been remanded to appear at Liverpool Magistrate’s Court tomorrow (Friday 18 July) at 9.45am.

A 45-year-old woman from Kirkby, who was arrested today on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released under investigation.
