Dispersal order introduced in Netherton
Action's being taken in response to reports of threats and criminal damage
Merseyside Police have introduced a dispersal zone in response to recent criminal damage and threats.
Focussing on public safety, the Dispersal Zone is in place until 2.59pm on Monday 21st September 2026.
The designated area (shown above) for the dispersal zone extends across several streets including Buckley Hill Lane, Northern Perimeter Road, and Chapel Lane.
Under Section 34 of the Anti-Social Behaviour & Policing Act 2014, police officers, community support officers, and traffic officers are authorised to remove individuals suspected of potentially causing criminal activities or disturbances.
Officers can seize items related to anti-social acts, with the possibility of arrest if directed individuals return to the area within the dispersal period.
