Witness appeal after pedestrian death on A1 near South Witham
Police seek anyone who may have dashcam footage
Authorities are seeking information from the public following a tragic incident on the A1 at South Witham, Lincolnshire.
This occurred on Saturday, 9th May, and resulted in the death of a woman and a dog.
Officials are asking anyone who was traveling between 9.15pm and 9.30pm on the A1 at South Witham and remembers seeing a man, a woman, and a dog walking in the area to come forward.
They also appeal to those who may have recorded dashcam footage of the pedestrians or the collision.
Following the incident, a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
He has been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
A 58-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released without charge.
Police have stated that they are satisfied there are no suspicious circumstances following new information.
