Three members of an organised crime group in North Lincolnshire have been jailed for offences linked to drug dealing, exploitation and violence.

Adam Lennon, 19, of Hereward Place in Scunthorpe, has been jailed for nine years.

He was found guilty of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, administering a noxious substance, assault, robbery and false imprisonment. He had also admitted supplying Class A cocaine and Class B cannabis.

Harry Cairney, 20, of Buckingham Street North in Scunthorpe, has been jailed for four years after admitting false imprisonment and assisting an offender.

A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been jailed for two years and eight months. He was found guilty of false imprisonment and admitted robbery, assault and drug supply offences.

The sentences follow a seven-day trial relating to two incidents in Scunthorpe in 2025 involving a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy.

Hull Crown Court heard the 19-year-old victim was falsely imprisoned, attacked with a hammer and forced to drink urine by Lennon in August 2025.

In October 2025, a 17-year-old victim who had been exploited by the group to sell drugs was lured to an address, prevented from leaving and subjected to violence and intimidation by Lennon, Cairney and the teenage offender.

Police investigated both incidents and uncovered the extent of the organised crime group's activities.

Senior Investigating Officer Detective Inspector Tom Kelly said: "This was some of the most degrading and disturbing offending my team has encountered, with vulnerable young people subjected to violence, humiliation, intimidation and exploitation by individuals who believed they were beyond the reach of the law."
