Anglian Water has established a bottled water hub at Morrisons supermarket car park in Stamford, Lincolnshire, following a burst water main in the area that has affected local water pressure and supply.

Residents experiencing low or no water availability can collect bottled water from Uffington Road, Stamford, as Anglian Water teams work to fix the issue and use tankers to inject more water into the local network.

An Anglian Water spokesperson apologized for the inconvenience, assuring customers of continuous updates via their website and expressing gratitude for their patience during repairs.

Customers collecting water will receive sufficient bottles for all household members, with assistance provided by Anglian Water staff at the collection point.

The water distributed is ready for use and does not require boiling, and customers are advised to store it indoors and not in direct sunlight.

Supplies are safe to drink, although minor cloudiness or discolouration might occur initially due to air bubbles following the interruption.

Residents are encouraged to conserve current water supplies for essential purposes to ensure broader availability.
