34 pregnant sheep have been killed after a dog attack in rural Lincolnshire, police say.
The sheep, which were in a field to the west of Haugham Road, near Tathwell, were attacked by a dog (or dogs) in the early hours of 13th February.
Four sheep died at the scene, whilst the rest died later as a result of shock or injuries.
Every sheep that was attacked died.
Officers say evidence at the scene indicates that this was a dog attack.
They're working to find out whether this was by one dog or multiple.
As all of the sheep were pregnant, the farmer is estimated to have lost between £10,000 and £15,000.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with information on the attack to contact them by calling 101, quoting incident 26000160007.
