Police appeal for information on death of man in Sleaford

Detectives say they're not treating the man's death as suspicious, but they do want to hear from witnesses

Police have confirmed they're not treating the death of a man in Sleaford as suspicious, but they still want to hear from witnesses.

The body of a 46-year-old was found in The Drove early yesterday morning (Tuesday 4th November 2025).

Officers want to hear from anyone who may have seen the man in Leasingham and Sleaford the night before.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said:

"We believe the man was in the Leasingham and Sleaford area between 7pm on Monday 3 November and 3am on Tuesday 4 November.

"He was described as having medium length hair, with a dark coloured beard and may have been wearing dark coloured trousers, a green coat and brown boots.

"If you saw him or if you witnessed any other suspicious persons or activity in the area at the time, please contact [email protected] quoting incident 44 of 11 November in the subject line."
