Man arrested as part of Sutton Bridge arson investigation

A 56-year-old Norfolk man has been arrested on suspicion of arson.

A man has been arrested as part of an arson investigation in Sutton Bridge.

On Thursday 4th of June, police received a call just after ten past eight reporting that a building in Bridge Road had been broken into and a fire had been started.

As part of police enquiries, a 56-year-old man from Norfolk has been arrested on suspicion of arson. Additionally, he was also arrested on suspicion of sending a communication threatening death or serious harm; and on suspicion of threatening to damage or destroy property.

The man was questioned by officers and then bailed with conditions that he should not enter Lincolnshire.
