The Lincolnshire Show returns for 2026
Thousands of people are expected to visit across the two day event
The Lincolnshire Show returns for 2026.
The event marks an important date for the agricultural sector, but as well as that it also attracts families and school children.
The two day event is expected to see around 65,000 people visit the Showground.
It takes place on the 17th and 18th of June.
Charlotte Powell is the Chief Executive of the Lincolnshire Showground, she says they look to educate children about farming too:
"We do a schools challenge which is a nine month project with schools. This year we've worked with over 70 schools.
"They learn about horticulture and agriculture.
"Then they come to the show, and then they present to us what they've learnt over that time and they might win a prize."
The show is a cross between a major agricultural event and a family fun day, which has demonstrations, livestock competitions, a parade and music
Charlotte says it's a major task to get it all ready:
"It takes us all year actually to plan. From infrastructure to marquees, to electrical supplies, to traffic management.
"And then to get all our exhibitors - we have just under 600 of them, and much more planning as well.
And not forgetting the animals! Charlotte tells us more:
"We've also got more agricultural entries this year, so more livestock.
"So you'll get to see a lot more cattle, and sheep and pigs".
