Lincolnshire Police has set out its plans for the next three years - which including hiring more officers and setting up a dedicated fraud team.
More than 136 additional police staff roles, including 28 new officers, have been announced.
The programme, named 'Lincs 2030', follows confirmation of three-year stability funding for the force.
Chief Constable Paul Gibson says this programme marks a turning point, after a prolonged period of financial constraint.
Chief Constable Gibson said: “We now have the opportunity to invest with confidence in the areas that will make the greatest difference to our communities.
"This programme ensures we are better equipped, better resourced, and better prepared to meet both current and future demands.”
“A positive future lies ahead.”
Lincs 2030 prioritises immediate investment in certain types of crime, according to the force.
These include 'Protecting Vulnerable Persons', which covers domestic abuse, child abuse and sex offences, as well as Neighbourhood Policing, and Fraud.
The force will also invest in digital forensics, and in Enhanced Video Response, which will allow complainants to speak to police via video link
