Lincolnshire Farming Conference confirmed for 2027 to unite industry leaders
Farmers and producers invited to connect, share, and innovate for growth
Farmers across the county are being encouraged to register for the Lincolnshire Farming Conference. The event welcomes farmers, producers, advisers, and industry leaders to the Lincolnshire Showground.
Organised by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, the conference aims to foster a spirit of collaboration under the theme 'Growing Together,' promoting partnerships and shared knowledge to address industry challenges and explore new opportunities.
Robert Nelstrop, Lincolnshire Farming Conference Chair highlighted the significance of this yearly event. Robert said: “With many sectors of the industry facing significant challenges, we will hear from an inspiring line-up of speakers on the theme of ‘Growing Together’."
He continued: "It's been a period where many sectors of the industry have faced significant challenges, but with that comes opportunity".
Speakers such as Colin Chappell, Environmental Champion of the Year, Dr Amy Jackson from Oxtale, and Professor Tim Lang, Professor Emeritus of Food Policy, will spearhead discussions on global and national food policy, collaborative projects, and public perceptions of agriculture.
Robert also expressed the importance of industry leaders joining for a day of connection, collaboration, and innovative thinking to build a more resilient future for agriculture in Lincolnshire.
