Lincoln’s New Family Hubs Open Their Doors
Launch events offer fun and support for parents and children
Four new Best Start Family Hubs have launched in Lincoln this week, promising more support for parents and young children than ever before.
Designed to help families from pregnancy through to starting school, the hubs are offering advice, group sessions and practical help from early years experts.
To mark the openings, each hub is holding a special event packed with fun activities for children, including the popular Little City mobile play area, where youngsters can role play jobs like firefighter and café owner.
Parents also have the chance to meet the early years team and get information on the wide range of support programmes available.
Cllr Natalie Oliver, executive member for children’s services, says the hubs are a vital step in making sure Lincolnshire children get the best start in life.
