Lincoln City crowned League One champions after historic season
That's following their win against Doncaster Rovers
Lincoln City have been crowned League One champions, sealing the title with a 2-0 win against Doncaster Rovers.
The Imps needed just a point to secure top spot, and have now completed a campaign which also sees them promoted to the Championship.
It marks a historic moment for the club, who will be playing in the second tier for the first time in 65 years.
Under boss Michael Skubala, the Imps have gone more than 20 league games unbeaten and have been sitting at the top of the table.
This marks a major milestone in Lincoln’s rise in recent years, with Lincoln climbing from non-league football to the Championship in less than a decade.
The Imps still have two games remaining this season, but will play them as champions.
