A dispersal order is in force across Holbeach after reports of criminal and anti-social behaviour in the town.

The order was authorised following reports on the evening of 22nd October.

It runs from 7.25pm on Thursday 22nd October until 7.25am on Friday 23rd October.

According to the notice, it covers the whole of Holbeach, including the town centre, housing estates, parks and recreational areas.

The notice says there is anti-social behaviour and disorder on Boston Road and in the town centre, including shops, involving approximately 20 young people.

The order gives officers the power to require people to leave the area if they are contributing, or likely to contribute, to harassment, alarm, distress, crime or disorder.

The notice says failing to comply with a direction to leave is an arrestable offence.

It adds that people visiting and living in Holbeach should be able to enjoy their community without fear of being involved in, or witnessing, anti-social behaviour or disorder.

The notice was issued under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
