A man has been arrested after another man was found dead unexpectedly in Grantham.
Emergency services were called out to a property in Greyfriars at around 11.12pm last night (26th January).
They found a man with serious injuries who was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is being treated as unexpected and suspicious.
A 55-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
People in the area should expect an increased presence of specialists, detectives and officers as investigation work continues.
A Lincolnshire police spokesperson said, "We would like to appeal for any witnesses or information in relation to this investigation. If you heard any disturbances or saw anything suspicious in the Greyfriars area between 9pm on Monday 26 January to midnight, please get in touch.
"We are also appealing for any doorbell, CCTV or dashcam footage of the area between those times that may help our investigation."
