Teen charged after failing to stop for officers during 20-minute high-speed chase in Grantham

An 18-year-old has been charged following a high-speed police chase in Grantham on Saturday.
Bobby Dunkerley, from St Leonards Street in Bedford, has been charged with dangerous driving, driving without insurance, and failing to stop for officers.
Officers spotted Dunkerley driving a black BMW through Grantham and requested him to stop.
When he failed to comply, a pursuit ensued lasting nearly 20 minutes.
Due to the ongoing legal proceedings, further information is limited at this time.
Dunkerley is scheduled to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on 3rd November 2026 to face the charges.
