Boy, 13, in critical condition after being hit by car in Grimsby

A 13-year-old boy who was hit by a car in Grimsby while riding a self-propelled scooter is in hospital with serious injuries.

Officers say they received reports that a white Seat Ibiza collided with the boy on Fairmont Road at around 6pm yesterday (24th March).

The boy was believed to have been crossing the road.

His injuries are thought to be life threatening.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with footage of the collision to contact them by calling 101 quoting log 346 of 24 March.
