Two arrests after reported assaults on residents at Lincolnshire SEND home
There are allegations of assaults on residents at Acacia Hall in Freisthorpe
Two men have been arrested following allegations of assaults on residents at a SEND care home near Market Rasen.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said "We are investigating allegations of assault on residents at Acacia Hall in Freisthorpe.
"Two men aged 34 and 41 were arrested on suspicion of common assault and ill treatment and/or wilfully neglecting an individual.
"Inquiries are ongoing, and we continue to work with the local authorities as part of our investigation."
The pair have since been released on bail as investigations continue.
Acacia Hall "offers residential provision for neurodivergent children and young people, who have additional complex learning needs", their website states.
Its residents go to Acacia School in the day, which is operating as normal.
The care home's license has been suspended by education watchdog Ofsted.
Kisimul, which operates the home, has been contacted for comment.
