A man has died following a collision earlier this month between West Keal and Hagnaby.
The incident was not reported at the time.
On the 7th of December a black Porsche left the road about 3:45pm on the A155 - it had been approaching the bridge over Hagnaby Beck.
The driver of the was not injured, while the passenger - a man in his 70s - did not attend hospital but has now died.
Specially trained officers will be supporting his family.
Lincolnshire Police say an independent report of the Porsche being off the road and unattended came in at 4.45pm that day.
They say this was at the time the county was struck by Storm Bert.
Anyone with information that will assist the Investigating Officer to piece together what has happened is encouraged to get in touch. Police are also appealing for anyone who travelled along the A155 on Sunday 7 December between 3.30pm and 4pm.
Any dashcam or other recorded footage that will assist with enquiries is also being called for.
