The family of a 19-year-old man who died following a crash in Grimsargh have paid tribute to him.

William Thomas Sullivan died at the scene on Preston Road on Sunday (18th January).

"Funny, caring, intelligent and wise beyond his years..."

His mum, dad and sister released the following tribute: “To his parents, the most wanted and loved son there has ever been.

“To his sister, he was the best brother and the kindest soul.

“An amazing grandson and nephew, absolutely idolised and adored by his young nieces.

“A true and loyal friend - William took his friends as they were, distance, age or personal circumstance were no barrier, he loved them all equally.

“Funny, caring, intelligent and wise beyond his years, he surprised us all every day - he was just the ‘best boy’.

“William we are all so immensely proud of the young man you became and of everything you achieved in your short life, we know there was so much more to come and just wish we had longer together.

“We are so very grateful to have had the privilege of being your Mum and Dad. The gaping chasm you leave in all of our hearts is too much to bear.”
