Tram services disrupted due to overnight maintenance work in Fleetwood
Free bus replacement service offered during tram disruptions
Essential track maintenance on Heathfield Road will disrupt tram services in Fleetwood next week.
Tram services between Fleetwood and Blackpool will terminate at Thornton Gate on the evening of Tuesday, 13th October.
A complimentary replacement bus service will run from 9:30 pm until shortly before 1:00 am to help passengers complete their journeys, with a full tram service resuming from the start of service on Wednesday, 14th October.
Steve Staley, Tramway Director at Blackpool Transport, stated, "Carrying out these works overnight means they can be completed quickly and efficiently, reducing disruption for residents and local businesses."
He added that every effort will be made to minimize any disturbance and thanked everyone for their patience and understanding.
