A man has died following a collision between the Ebike he was riding and a parked car in Fleetwood.

50-year-old Stuart McBride, from Fleetwood, died in hospital on 4th March, just over a month after the accident.

Officers say they were called on 3rd February to Brock Avenue, after reports of a collision.

The Ebike Mr McBride was riding had collided with an unoccupied parked car and he fell off.

He was left with serious head and leg injuries.

The Ebike was then ridden away from the scene before emergency services arrived.

They've not yet identified the person who did this.

Sgt Ben Elliott of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “it is so important that we trace the person who removed it and trace the Ebike which we believe was black and purple in colour.

“If you were the person who took the Ebike away, please come forward to speak to us.”

Officers are also appealing for witnesses and anyone who has dashcam/CCTV from the area to come forward.

Reports can be made by calling 101 and quoting log 1148 of 3rd February.
