Rolex returned to owner in Lytham St Annes after a series of thefts
Two teenagers from Blackpool were sentenced for their part in the crimes
A stolen Rolex watch has been returned to its owner in Lytham St Annes after a series of thefts from cars over the summer.
Two teenagers from Blackpool were sentenced for their part in the crimes, each receiving youth rehabilitation orders, electronic tags and curfews, with one told to pay five hundred pounds compensation.
Police say their investigation continued after the court case, leading to another arrest for handling stolen goods and the watch being tracked down to London.
In a statement Fylde Police said: "We want to assure you that this level of service is given to all of our victims, no matter the value of the items stolen.
"During our investigations we have recovered and returned a vast range of stolen items including cars, tools, helmets, headphones, aftershave and more!
"We can't always promise that we will recover your stolen items, but we can promise that we will try our absolute best in doing so.
"Although we don't have a say on court sentencing results, what we do have a say on is the service we deliver to our victims."
