Man charged after stabbing in Preston B&M store

Lancashire Police have charged a man after a stabbing in Preston city centre this week.
At 12.37pm on Wednesday, we were called to B&M Bargains in Carlisle Street, to reports of an assault.
Officers attended and found that a man in his 40s had suffered a stab wound to his leg. He was taken to hospital.
A 27-year-old man was arrested in Preston a short time later.
Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Andrzej Mikulski, 27, of no fixed address, has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent.
He’s further charged with an offence of robbery at the Market offices in Earl Street, Preston, two offences of attempted robbery at stores in Preston, three offences of possessing a knife/bladed article in a public place, two offences of theft from shops, and one offence of theft of a pedal cycle.
