A man who had been hit by a forklift and trapped against a parked van in Preston has been taken to hospital with serious leg injuries.
Emergency services were called on Monday afternoon (22nd December) to reports of a crash on Essex Street.
A pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was found between a forklift truck and a parked DAF Box van.
Sargeant Ben Elliott from the Road Policing Unit said: “My thoughts are with the injured man as he undergoes treatment in hospital for his injuries.
“As we investigate the cause of the collision, we are asking for anyone driving in the area who has dashcam footage, or witnessed what happened, to come forward.”
