A body found in woodland near Padiham has been confirmed as that of a woman named Julie, who had been reported missing.
Police said officers searching for Julie found the body of a woman off Burnley Road shortly before 3pm.
The body has since been confirmed to be Julie's.
Police said her death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be passed to the coroner in due course.
Julie's loved ones have been informed and are being supported, police said.
