Man charged with string of Preston thefts
49-year-old Jonathan Cooke has been charged
Lancashire Police have charged a man with a string of shoplifting offences across Preston.
It relates to incidents between July and September where items of stock including confectionery, was stolen from Tesco stores.
Jonathan Cooke, 49, of no fixed address has been charged with 17 counts of theft from a shop.
He will appear before Preston Magistrates Court today.
