Man arrested after increase in drug drops at HMP Kirkham

Lancashire Police have confirmed a man's been arrested after officers spotted suspicious activity outside HMP Kirkham.
The force says there's been a rise in organised drug drops at Kirkham prison over the past few months so have been working to tackle the issue.
As part of Operation Washer, plain clothed officers were out around the prison, identifying any suspicious activity or vehicles.
Officers spotted a vehicle acting suspiciously near the site and arrested a 54 year old man.
The driver, from Burnley, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A and B.
