Man arrested after suspected stabbing in Blackpool

A man has been arrested after a suspected stabbing in Blackpool.
Emergency services were called to Royal Bank Road just after midnight on 16 July.
Officers received reports a man in his 20s had been assaulted by several men and had injuries consistent with being stabbed.
He's currently in hospital in a serious condition.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.
The incident is being treated as isolated, with no wider threat to the public.
People in the area should expect to see an increase in patrols as a precaution, however.
Officers are searching for the other suspects, but say they don't have any formal suspect descriptions.
