Two Lancashire boys, 15 and 16, charged following robbery

Two boys from Lancashire have been charged following a robbery in Widnes.

They were arrested yesterday (15th January) following an incident in the Gerrard area.

A 15-year-old boy from St Helens and a 16-year-old boy from Wigan have been charged with attempted robbery.

The 15-year-old boy has also been charged with driving without insurance, driving without a license and driving without due care and attention.

They're set to appear at Chester Magistrates' Court today (16th January).
