A man from Lancashire who attempted to engage in sexual communication with children online has been jailed for over seven years.

34-year-old Kurt Devoy-Foster spoke to 'girls' he thought were aged between 12 and 15 over a two-year period, unaware he was actually talking to decoys.

He used RandoChat and WhatsApp under various aliases, sending explicit messages, inappropriate images and videos, and attempted to incite the 'children' to engage in sexual activity.

He was arrested multiple times and released on bail with strict conditions.

He breached the conditions by continuing to message minors (decoys), and was charged with more offences.

He was arrested a total of three times.

He pleaded guilty at Preston Crown Court to sexual communication with children under 16, inciting minors to engage in sexual activities, and failing to comply with legal requirements.

He's been sentenced to seven years and six months in prison and made the subject of an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
