Woman charged after reports of aggressive dog in Bamber Bridge park

A woman has been charged after reports an aggressive dog was on the loose in a public park in Bamber Bridge.

Emergency services were called to Withy Park just before 3.40pm on 17 July.

They'd received reports a staffy-type dog was loose and acting aggressively to members of the public.

The dog was seized and a 51-year-old woman arrested.

Kimberley Bond, of Grove Street, Bamber Bridge has now been charged with being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control.

She's due at Preston Magistrates Court on 11 August.

Officers are continuing to appeal for anyone with information to call 101 quoting log 1075 of 17 July.
