Four jailed over East Lancashire heroin and crack cocaine network

Four members of a drugs gang which supplied East Lancashire with heroin and crack cocaine have been jailed for a combined total of more than 22 years.

Police say the gang ran the 'Crazy' drugs line, which supplied Class A drugs for a number of years.

Lancashire Police began an investigation in December 2021, after finding Saeed Aziz at an address on Travis Street in Burnley along with drugs, cash and weapons.

They identified Uzair Nazir, Corey Young, and Mohammed Haroon as other members of the drugs gang.

Their sentences

All four admitted conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine.

Saeed Aziz, 25, of Whalley Street, Burnley, has been jailed for 10 years and nine months.

Uzair Nazir, 24, of Milner Street, Burnley, has beenjailed for five years and five months.

Corey Young, 20, of no fixed address, has been jailed for four years and six months.

Mohammed Haroon, 24, of Lindsay Street, Burnley, has been jailed for two years and six months.

"Evil trade of peddling drugs"

Detective Sergeant Stu Peall said “This gang brought misery to many through their evil trade of peddling drugs on our streets but thanks to our efforts are now behind bars.

“We will continue to tackle those who bring harm to our communities by dealing in illegal drugs by dismantling these gangs and putting those involved before the courts.”
