Crews tackle blaze with aerial support

At 01:25 on 18th July 2026, crews from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were deployed to a fire at a commercial site on Longridge Road, Preston.

Several appliances, including the high-volume pump, command unit, double hose box, aerial ladder platform, and drone, are being used to combat the blaze.

Firefighters are deploying two main jets in their efforts to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire remains unclear, and crews are still at the location managing the situation.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service is using equipment such as the aerial ladder platform to support firefighters on the ground.
