Police seek information after violence at Burnley railway station

British Transport Police (BTP) are seeking help from the public following a violent disorder at Burnley Manchester Road railway station in Lancashire.
The incident occurred at around 6pm on Saturday, 8th August, after a football match between Burnley and Notts County.
Two sets of fans began a verbal confrontation while walking to the station, which escalated once they reached the platform, leading to several fights.
Station staff attempted to separate the groups, but the situation intensified before the participants fled upon hearing police sirens.
Officers have released images of a group of youths they wish to speak to, believing they could have crucial information.
