More details have been released for fans wanting to pay their respects to Wigan rugby legend Sir Billy Boston.
A funeral service for will take place at Wigan’s Brick Community Stadium on Thursday 10th September at 12.30pm.
Wigan Warriors said anyone wishing to attend has until 5pm on Wednesday 9th September to make their donation.
There will be no admissions on the day.
Pass holders can enter from 11.15am and should be seated before turnstiles close at 12.15pm.
Funeral procession
Fans can also pay their respects along the cortege route through Wigan.
Watching the service
A free Wigan TV stream will be available from noon.
The family encourages traditional funeral clothing, with cherry-red accessories welcome.
Those attending are asked to avoid photography and filming, and remain seated until the procession leaves.
