Police investigate double stabbing in Maidstone
Police appeal for information following County Road assault
Police are investigating a double stabbing in Maidstone.
The attack took place on County Road around 3.33pm yesterday, 11th March.
Both victims, in their 20s, sustained injuries believed to be consistent with knife wounds.
They were treated by paramedics at the scene before being transported to hospital.
Their injuries are not considered life-threatening or life-changing.
Police launched initial enquiries at the site and lifted the cordon by 8.30pm.
Authorities are urging people who were near County Road, including areas such as Sandling Road, Week Street, and Holland Road, between 2pm and 4pm to come forward if they have information or video footage to assist the investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Jonathan Faulkner said:
"I would like to reassure members of the community that incidents like this are rare, and we are working at pace to find those responsible.
"The public may notice increased patrols in the area over the coming days.
"While the investigation is still in its early stages, we are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything unusual or who may have relevant information to come forward. Even the smallest bit of information could be useful."
