Tribute paid to 36-year-old "loving father" who died on the M20 near Lenham

The partner of Arran McManus, a 36-year-old man who died following a collision on the M20 near Lenham has paid tribute to him, describing him as a loving father and a pillar of the community.

The collision involving three vehicles happened at 8.27am on Tuesday 25th November 2025 on the London-bound carriageway between junctions 9 and 8.

Ashleigh Devlin, speaking on behalf of the family, said:

"I am heartbroken to share that on Tuesday morning, Arran, my partner, my soulmate, and best friend was sadly taken too soon from us."

"Arran was our whole life and more. He was the most wonderful dad to our two incredible children, and he was so proud of them both and loved them both so deeply."

"Arran will be sorely missed by his entire family circle. He was a pillar of our local community football club Kennington, as a coach and a member of the executive team, where he brought joy to so many."

The collision involved a white Mercedes lorry, a black Nissan Qashqai, and a white Scania articulated lorry.

Emergency services attended the scene where the driver of the Nissan, Arran McManus, was pronounced dead. His next of kin has been informed.

The driver of the Mercedes was flown to a hospital in London by air ambulance for treatment after sustaining serious injuries.

Witness appeal by Kent Police

Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit has launched an appeal for witnesses or anyone with relevant information to come forward.

They are urging anyone who saw the incident, or the vehicles prior to it, to contact them by either calling 01622 798538 or emailing [email protected].
