Surrey man charged with serious assault in Canterbury
This is after an incident at the end of last month.
Kent police have confirmed a man from Leatherhead in Surrey has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
The force were investigating a serious assault in Canterbury in the early hours of Saturday 29th March.
A man in his 60s was taken to a local hospital with injuries, police stated they were not believed to be life-threatening.
On Friday Billy Brazil in Leatherhead, Surrey, was arrested in connection with the incident.
The 30 year old of Chester Road, appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
He was released on bail and will next appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Tuesday May 6th.
