25-year-old man dies after stabbing in Dover
A murder investigation has begun after following an attack in Eythorne
A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a 25-year-old man in Eythorne, Dover.
Kent Police were called at 9.06am on Thursday 29th January 2026 after receiving reports of an assault inside a private address in Rose Gardens.
Emergency services attended but the man, who had injuries consistent with stab wounds, was pronounced dead after being treated by paramedics.
The victim's next of kin have been informed.
A man in his 60s from Dover, who was known to the victim, has been arrested in connection with the attack and remains in police custody.
There is currently an increased police presence in Eythorne as officers carry out investigations. A cordon in Rose Gardens is expected to stay in place overnight.
Detectives are asking any witnesses who have not yet spoken to them to come forward. People with private CCTV or motorists with dashcam footage are also asked to check for relevant material.
